Without changing the power level on both cards to +5% my system just died pretty often with and without crossfire running duo that problem. I am running 17.3.1 without any issues with a 280x and a 7970 ghz in crossfire (both are same cards with a somewhat different bios as amd just relabled the 7970 to 280x more or less).
Specially in games that often shift through power states. I am telling you that the problems with the newer drivers (past 17.2.1) are coming from this problem. I'll try the different solutions mentioned by you guys.
So, you're actually telling me that the games crashes because the gaphics card doesnt get enough power?
